TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Police Department arrested three suspects after assaulting and robbing a juvenile teenager Thursday near Park Place Mall.

Police say the three suspects seen in the video were kicked out of the Mall after shoplifting prior to attacking the teen.

The 13-year-old victim seen in the video was walking to the family vehicle, which was dropped off at the car dealership to be worked on, according to TPD.

The victim was walking back from the vehicle when he was attacked and hit repeatedly and was said to be unconscious for about 15 seconds, according to Tucson Police Stg. Pete Dugan.

The suspects took the keys from the victim and took the family vehicle a silver Nissan Armada.

On Friday officers located one of the suspects who had the keys to the Nissan on him.

Police identified the suspect as 21-year-old Dahseir Jefferson.

Police say during his arrest he assaulted a police officer.

Jefferson is now facing charges of aggravated assault, assault on a peace officer, and other related charges.

Help from social media and security camera footage from Park Place Mall, police were able to identify the two other suspects and arrest them, according to TPD Stg. Dugan.

The other two suspects are juvenile teens.

One of the teens was booked into the Pima County Jail, and the other was booked into the Pima County Juvenile Corrections Center.

Police say the vehicle was found undamaged.
