Tucson police arrested a man who robbed an ACE Cash Express near 12th Avenue and Valencia Sunday.
According to Sgt. Pete Dugan with TPD, an employee alerted police by pressing a panic alarm. Another employee answered a call from police and reported that they were being robbed at gunpoint.
When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect fled on foot and ran near a nearby Food City. The Food City was evacuated at that time.
The suspect was located by TPD at gunpoint, and the man surrendered. Dugan says that he is now in custody.
