ORO VALLEY, Ariz. - Town of Oro Valley officials are seeking input from the community as they begins working on their master plan for the Parks and Recreation Department.

Officials want to hear directly from residents about what they think regarding parks, trails, golf courses and different centers around town.

Officials want to know whether residents think certain parks or other locations need more or less parking, other amenities, or if the town needs more of these parks or centers in general.

In order to get some of this feedback, the town of Oro Valley created a website, planyourparksov.com, where residents can submit any and all input.

That website, also allows residents to see project information.

Kristy DIaz-Trahan, the director for the town of Oro Valley's Parks and Recreation Department told KGUN9 that while they hope getting some of this feedback can create immediate changes to some of their parks and different areas, they are also thinking about long term solutions.

"Our goal is to ask anyone and everyone in Oro Valley what they would like their parks and recreation system to be not just today, but 10 years from now," said DIaz-Trahan
