Three people have been transported to the hospital following a collision with a tractor-trailer, according to the Northwest Fire District.
Capt. Brian Keeley, a spokesman for the district said at 12:15 p.m. they received multiple 9-1-1 calls for a passenger car that struck the rear of a tractor-trailer on Orange Grove near Shannon.
Keeley said one patient is in serious condition and two have non-life-threatening injuries.
The trailer involved in the collision is used to transport gasoline and is not leaking. It is not known at this time if it was carrying product or empty, Keeley said.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area at this time.
