TUCSON, Ariz. — The Postal History Foundation is calling all youth artists to participate in the annual Tucson Birthday Stamp Design contest.

Tucson-area children ages 5-17 are encouraged to express their inner artist by designing a U.S. postal stamp that embodies the essence of Tucson as a way to commemorate Tucson's birthday.

Five winners will chosen from each of three different age brackets.

Winning designs will be featured in a variety of ways and the winners will receive ribbons and prizes. The grand prize winner will have their artwork transformed into an actual postage stamp, with proceeds from sales going toward the YES program.

To enter, download the information packet and entry form on the Postal History Foundation website or visit the museum any weekday through July 26th, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM to create a masterpiece with provided supplies.

The deadline for entries is 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019.
