TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Fire Department responded to a house fire on the southside on Monday.
Crews were called to the area of 7200 block of South Missiondale Road about a report of a house fire.
Crews were able to confirm flames coming from the front door of the home.
The initial Engine Company immediately started to extinguish the front yard.
Crews did a search of the home to ensure no one was inside and put out any remaining flames.
Firefighters were able to contain to the fire in eleven minutes after arrival.
Firefighters responded to a house fire this evening near Missiondale and Los Reales. Thankfully no one was injured and TFD crews controlled the fire 11 minutes after arriving. The house was vacant and the cause is being investigated. #TFD pic.twitter.com/vtfQ58AWf0
