TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Fire Department responded to a fire in a southeast side home on Tuesday afternoon.
TFD crews were called to a home at 2700 block of South Oakenshield near the southeast side around 1:00 p.m.
TFD says there were reports of a floor fan on fire, and filling the room with smoke. Upon arrival TFD saw light smoke coming from the home. Before TFD arrived two of three residents of the home were able to evacuate, the third resident was not home during the time of the fire.
Crews were able to control the fire in under ten minutes of arrival.
The residents of the home received assistance from Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
