TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Brendan Kai Moffitt, was arrested in Tucson after fleeing Texas pending a charge for the murder of his father, Herschel Bryan Moffitt.

On Jan. 1, 2014, police officers found Herschel dead at his house in Texas with multiple gunshot wounds. His son, Brendan, was arrested for first degree murder.

Further investigation determined Brendan killed his father after an argument they had on social media.

After his arrest Brendan was able to post bail. Less than a month later, Brendan fled the area and officers could not find him.

Officers found out that Brendan was living with a friend in the 1800 block of south Pantano road.
