Tucson Electric Power is warning customers about a phone scam.
Callers claiming to work for TEP threaten to disconnect service over unpaid bills or damaged meters demand that victims give them a pre-paid money card.
TEP says the scam has targeted at last 225 victims.
Those who receive such calls and have questions about their accounts should call 623-7711.
