A teenager has been detained after bringing a gun onto the Palo Verde High School campus.
Sgt. Kimberly Bay with the Tucson Police Department says the student did not pull the gun out, but weapons are not allowed on campus grounds.
The student was detained for being underage and being in possession of a weapon, said Bay.
Nobody was injured.
The school was not placed on lockdown because students had been released for the day.
