TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Tucson Department of Transportation has announced operation freeze is in effect as of 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
TDOT says street maintenance crews are spraying bridges with magnesium chloride.
TDOT says the magnesium chloride lowers freezing water temperatures, and creates a safer drive for vehicles and bicyclists.
