TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Department of Transportation has announced operation freeze is in effect as of Friday afternoon.
TDOT says street maintenance crews are spraying bridges with magnesium chloride.
TDOT says the magnesium chloride lowers freezing water temperatures, and creates a safer drive for vehicles and bicyclists.
