TUCSON, Ariz. — In preparation for the storms the Palo Verde neighborhood is reminding homeowners about Operation Splash.
Every year the neighborhood preps for monsoon by setting barricades in areas where dip crossings can become dangerous.
Sandbags will be available starting Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds.
TDOT will distribute free sandbags in the north parking lot.
