TUCSON, Ariz. — New Emoji options have been announced for smartphones and one icon is sure to make Arizonans very happy.
Starting in the second half of 2020, users can insert a tamale Emoji into any conversation.
Whether you're including it in a text conversation about making tamales during the holidays, or simply emphasizing your craving for one of the best Mexican dishes around, the option will be there before you know it.

According to Emojipedia, the Emoji 13.0 update includes 117 new images.
Other additions that made the cut include "People Hugging," "Italian Hand Gesture," "Bubble Tea" and many more.
