Tucson police and members of the bomb squad are responding to the area of Oracle and Wetmore after a backpack was left near a power pole.
Sgt. Pete Dugan says officers have evacuated the area as a precaution.
Dugan says the bomb squad will X-ray the backpack and then take appropriate action from there.
