The Tucson Police Department has arrested one man, and are still searching for another man in connection to a jewelry heist inside a JC Penny.

In May 2017, police responded to an alarm call at the JC Penney store located at 3501 E. Broadway Blvd. to investigate a robbery.

It is believed the suspects hid in the store while it was open and waited until it was closed to steal more than $100,000 in jewelry.

Police have identified one of the suspects as 18-year-old Henry Lopez. He has been booked for First Degree Burglary and Trafficking in Stolen Property. Additional charges are pending for Lopez.

Additional evidence of the burglary and another similar incident were located, along with some of the property stolen from the store, during a search of the Lopez's residence.

TPD needs help identifying and locating an additional suspect described as a black male, approximately 19-years-old.

If you have information about this incident, please call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
