Three people are now facing murder charges in connection to the death of a 6-month-old.

The child died February 19th and the three suspects, including the child's mother, were initially arrested on child abuse charges.

Just after 3 p.m. on Thursday an email was sent to KGUN9 from a representative from the Pima County Superior Court that said the three suspects were facing first-degree murder and child abuse charges. Then around 5:20, the same court representative sent another email saying that those charges may be wrong.

However, Stephanie Coronado with the Pima County Attorney's Office confirmed Friday the three suspects are facing murder charges.

The defendants, Kylie Brewer, Jon-Paul Bogdanowich Jr. and Kaylie Gossett appeared before a judge Thursday, Gossett appeared via video court and is still behind bars. The charges were not read aloud in court by a judge, and the indictment was not yet made public as of Thursday afternoon.

A judge entered them into not guilty pleas and the next court date is set for April 17th.

A warrant is out for a fourth person in connection to the case. According to court officials, Brianna Raidy did not show up to court on Thursday.
