Two suspected shoplifters are in custody after crashing their car into a bus stop near Dodge and 5th.
The two adult males are suspected of shoplifting from the El Con Mall.
After leaving El Con Mall in a vehicle they realized they were being followed by Tucson Police according to Sgt. Dugan with TPD.
They hit another car as they were fleeing and eventually crashed into a bus stop.
After the crash, the two suspects fled on foot and were located by officers in the area and taken into custody.
No one was injured during the incident.
Stolen items were located in the suspect's vehicle and were returned to the store.
