The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed a victim was shot after a road-rage incident.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
PCSD said that the incident started as a road rage altercation between the victim and an unidentified suspect driving "a red Mini Cooper with black stripes along its sides."
"During a verbal exchange, the victim was shot," PCSD said. "The suspect vehicle fled the scene and has not been located."

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department said they responded to a shooting incident in the area near Snyder and Harrison.
PCSD said a victim was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
The sheriff's department said the "suspect is outstanding."
