Phoenix police have arrested a 39-year-old man suspected of shooting another man in south Phoenix.
Francisco Nunez Carillo was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and other felony charges for the shooting of a 30-year-old man Friday night at a home on the 300 block of West Southern Avenue.
Phoenix police spokeswoman Sgt. Mercedes Fortune says Nunez Carillo and the victim were arguing before the shooting.
The victim was reported in critical condition Saturday but is expected to survive.
His name has not been released.
