Officials have released surveillance footage of the moment a suspect attacked a motel employee in July.
Tempe police said on July 10, at 6:30 p.m., officers were called to the Motel 6 at Priest Drive and Broadway Road for a report of an assault.
According to police, there was a verbal altercation between the suspect and the employee regarding a room. The suspect punched and kicked the staff member multiple times causing serious injuries.
The suspect ran from the scene. He is described as a black male, approximately 30 years old with short dark hair and a goatee.
