SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) - Police in the Phoenix suburb of Surprise are investigating the deaths of two men overnight.
Officers responded to a residential area before dawn Thursday and found one man in the street and the other inside a nearby vehicle. A third man was injured and taken to the hospital.
Surprise police say all three sustained trauma but didn't have specific details. They're investigating what led up to the deaths and injury.
Police believe all three men knew each other. Their identities have not been released.
Police are asking residents nearby to check home surveillance systems for any recordings that could help detectives working the case.
Surprise is about 30 miles northwest of Phoenix.
