Sun Tran routes are about to get a major facelift. Over the next six months, 120 of the busiest bus stops in town will be redone.
Shelter refurbishment includes: new metal screens for shade, new benches, new paint and wheelchair access.

The improvements will make these shelters fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
This project is paid for by the Federal Transit Administration and the city matched 20% of that funding.
Not only are existing stops getting refurbished, Sun Tran is installing five new shelters around the city too.
