Pima County is looking to hire more than 1,000 teens and young adults for its Summer Youth Employment Program.
The county is now accepting applications for people between the ages of 14 and 24.
Workers will be paid minimum wage or they can receive school credit.
The county partners with the City of Tucson, the University of Arizona and a variety of local businesses to offer employment.
Those chosen will work between 20 and 40 hours a week and the job will last 4 to 7 weeks.
Last year more than 4,500 people applied.
