Students will soon be able to retake parts of the ACT and improve their scores.
ACT announced three changes Tuesday. They start in September.
Retaking a single portion of the exam is cheaper than the current option, which is retaking the entire exam.
The ACT will also offer online tests and let students combine section scores to create a superscore.
Those superscores can be used in college applications.
Last year, some Arizona high schools used the ACT in place of the AZ-Merit test.
