The streets of Tucson are starting to get a whole lot brighter.
Construction on a new street light project is underway.
Crews are working to replace more than 18,000 existing poles with new LED lights.
The move is set to save the city more than 70% off their electric bill and make the streets safer for pedestrians.
The $16 million dollar project is set to be completed by April.
