Stolen debit card used at local Walmart

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County Sheriff''s are searching for a man who used stolen debit cards at a local Walmart.

Authorities say on January 26 at 7:45 a.m., Rincon District deputies responded to the 6700 block of North Canyon Crest Drive for a report of theft.  According to a press release by Pima County Sheriff's, when deputies arrived, they discovered multiple personal items were stolen from a vehicle, including debit and credit cards.

Deputies say by the time the theft was reported, someone had already attempted to fraudulently purchase merchandise from a nearby Walmart, with the stolen debit card.

The suspect is described as:

  • A Caucasian male
  • 5'9"-6'0" tall, with a heavy build and light brown hair
  • 18-20 years old
  • Last seen wearing a tan jacket and camouflage pants

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
