There is only a couple weeks left before most students head back to class.

The state superintendent is asking the legislature to immediately release funds for Arizona's school voucher program.

Kathy Hoffman says the workload is overwhelming staff.

There are nearly 8,000 students in or trying to get in the program.

Hoffman wants lawmakers to release more than $3,000,000 that's been earmarked fir program management.

Meantime, Representative Mark Finchem is calling on the Attorney General to investigate fraud and misuse in the voucher program.
