Southern Arizona American Red Cross sends Tucson nurse to Puerto Rico

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross is sending a Tucson nurse to Puerto Rico to help those affected by the recent earthquake and aftershocks.

Leonida Chaudoin is a registered nurse who was born in Puerto Rico. She lived there for 17 years and now lives in Tucson.

Mike Sagara with the Red Cross says this is Chaudoin's 15th deployment across the country to help those affected after a disaster.
