South Tucson Police looking for armed robbery suspect

The City of South Tucson Police Department is searching for an armed robbery suspect who robbed the Circle K located at 2004 South 6th Avenue on May 17.

The incident happened at 10:13 a.m. and the male suspect left on foot. 

The suspect was armed with a screwdriver and pointed it at both clerks.

According to a release, "The suspect ordered the fire clerk to give him the money from her cash register. He then approached the second clerk and told her 'you have 10 seconds to open your register' as he pointed the screwdriver within inches of her body."

The suspect left with $77 from both cash registers and went into a residential neighborhood. 

The suspect had no shoes and was wearing a black shirt with 'San Francisco NL West Divison Champions 2010' on the front. 

His shorts were two colors. He is described as a Hispanic man 5'8" and approximately 175 pounds. 

He has a beard with a trimmed mustache and medium length hair. He spoke English and has tattoos on his arms.
