South 12th Avenue was closed from Elvira to Corona late Friday because of a serious collision involving a pedestrian.
According to Sgt. Bay with TPD, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle after they walked into the street.
The driver remained on the scene and there were no signs of impairment.
The pedestrian is currently in the hospital with serious injuries.
