TUCSON, Ariz. — Palo Verde High School will have extra security on campus today due to a social media threat.
According to Senior Coordinator Karla Escamilla, following reports of the threat circulating yesterday, the Tucson Police Department did an immediate investigation and it was cleared last night.
"Since the safety of our students and staff is a top priority, this morning Palo Verde School Administration with TUSD School Safety identified two possible students involved, and they have been taken into the office for questioning," Escamilla said.
At this time, there is no threat to the school or students. Classes will resume as normal today.
