For those who couldn't make it to Phoenix - KGUN9 had LIVE coverage of the historic teacher walkout on our social media pages.

Many people weighed in on their thoughts about the red for ed movement.

While there was a lot of passion, hope and energy at the rally - the same feelings filtered out on social media.

Here are a few positive comments KGUN9 saw on Facebook.

"Proud parent of a special needs kid from Bloom Elementary here in tucson. We stand with all teachers and support staff who pave the way for our children to be the ones who sit there today to make the decision to thank their teachers or disrespect them. Ducey, I ask you, "who was your favorite teacher and why?" sleep on that." - Lisa Funkhouser
