Zuzu Smoke Shop has shut down after the Counter-Narcotics Alliance found spice in the shop.

The investigation into the shop began in November when authorities received information that spice was being sold there according to Sgt. Peter Dugan with the Tucson Police Department.

Over the past few months, the alliance obtained packets they thought were spice. They tested those packets and they came back positive for spice.

A warrant was served at the Zuzu Smoke Shop on Wednesday.

During the search of the shop, CNA found spice, hydroponic marijuana, guns and other evidence.

Authorities arrested the clerk, Scott Vandoren and he was charged with unlawful sale of dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of dangerous drugs for sale, and possession of a firearm during a drug offense.

There are other possible charges pending.
