The child’s mother says the baby was born just 3 pounds and 14 ounces after the woman was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia.
The photo of the baby was taken five days after it was born.
The child’s mother, Lauren Vinje, says with all the problems associated with the birth, the picture shows just how happy the baby was just to be alive.
