La Canada Drive is being transformed into a block party on Saturday.
Slide the City will be coming to Oro Valley and will allow event-goers to slip and splash down a giant waterslide.
The event will also feature street entertainers and local vendors.
Sliding will begin at 10 a.m. Tickets start at $16 and are available for purchase at the event. Slide the City will donate a portion of the proceeds to the March of Dimes.
Slide the City began in 2014 and brings 1000 foot slides to locations from coast to coast.
Slide the City goes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 10800 North La Canada Drive.
