Pinal County Sheriff's deputies say a 61-year-old skydiver is dead after he suffered a hard landing during a dive Sunday.
Deputies responded to Skydive Phoenix Inc., 56580 W. Dasher Driver, in Maricopa. The incident happened at about 4:45 p.m.
The FAA is investigating the dive, and deputies have no details about what caused the hard landing.
