Officials at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport say parts of Terminal 4 are closed as police check out a suspicious item.
The closure was reported about 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Airport spokeswoman Heather Lissner says passengers have been moved to the west side of the terminal as a precaution.
She says all of the ticket counters are currently closed and the curb lanes on the ticket counter level are closed to vehicles.
