SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Sierra Vista say they have arrested a woman suspected in an arson case.

They say 50-year-old Tina Van Scoy was taken into custody Monday on suspicion of arson, criminal damage and criminal trespass.

Police and city fire and medical services crews responded to a house fire around 5 a.m. Monday.

Firefighters worked for several hours to contain the blaze, but the structure was a total loss.

Investigators determined Van Scoy was in the house when the fire started.

Authorities say Van Scoy had been evicted a week earlier.

They say she returned to the house and entered it sometime Saturday or Sunday.

It's unclear if Van Scoy has a lawyer yet.
