Sierra Vista Police Department arrests man for stabbing incident

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. — Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a man Tuesday for several counts of aggravated assault related to a stabbing that happened on October 19.

SVPD officers responded to the 600 block of Charles Drive for a report about a stabbing on October 19.

Upon arrival officers found Sierra Vista man identified as Christopher Rodriguez.

Police say Rodriguez was involved in an altercation with an unidentified man who handling a knife at the Sierra Charles Apartments.

Sierra Vista Fire and medical services treated Rodriguez on the scene and took him to Canyon Vista Medical Center.

On Monday SVPD arrested 44-year-old Ali Robinson on unrelated charges.

He was later interviewed and was arrested for several counts of aggravated assault related to the stabbing.

Robinson was booked into Cochise County Jail.
