TUCSON, Ariz. — A Sierra Vista man is in custody, and facing sex crime charges.
Sierra Vista Police say 29-year-old Michael Lyman is facing two charges of sexual exploitation of a minor after a case they've been working for months.
It started in early 2018, when police say the National Center for Missing and Exploited Chidlren told police that a man had user their social media platforms to send illicit child images in 2018. Investigators say they later identified Lyman as the culprit.
Officers executed a search warrant at a home on the 900 block of Catalina Drive in Sierra Vista Thursday morning. Lyman was arrested there a short time later.
