Sierra Vista police have arrested 51-year-old Brian Sullivan after investigating a kidnapping incident.
Officers responded to the Regency Inn & Suites, located at 250 Carroll Drive in Sierra Vista at 6:48 p.m.
A woman reported she had been attacked, according to the Corporal Tim Wachtel with the Sierra Vista Police Department.
Officers learned she had been held against her will inside Sullivan's room for an extended period of time.
After a witness on the scene was able to confirm some of the victim’s story, Sullivan was arrested on scene without incident, said Wachtel.
He was booked on charges of attempted sexual assault, kidnapping, and assault.
