Sheriff's Departments across Southern Arizona are on high alert following a deputy-involved shooting at a Maricopa County substation.
The man accused of firing shots told authorities that he was just trying to scare the deputy.
The man is now behind bars. The deputy wasn't hurt in the incident.
The Cochise County Sheriff's Office and the Pima County Sheriff's Department are telling their employees to be aware of their surroundings in case the shooting was not an isolated incident.
