Cienega High School went on lockdown Thursday morning after PCSD received a report of someone in the area with a weapon.
According to a Vail Unified School District spokesperson, the person hadn't been identified, nor was there confirmation of a weapon.
PCSD confirmed with the school district that the person was not on campus. Cienega, Old Vail Middle School and VUSD all went into shelter-in-place.
The subject was detained as of 1 p.m. and all orders have been lifted.
