TUCSON, Ariz. - A wreck near Three Points Tuesday morning caused serious injuries.
According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, the crash involved two vehicles near West Viking Street and South Sierrita Mountain Road.
Detectives say 31-year-old Kevin Wallace was driving at a high-rate of speed when he hit another vehicle which had multiple people inside.
PCSD says the driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. In addition, a wooman and three juvenile passengers suffered minor injuries.
Wallace fled the scene, but was later located at his home. PCSD says he showed signs of impairment and was investigated for a DUI.
Wallace was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex on felony and misdemeanor charges.
