Police were busy early on Sunday responding to several fatal car collisions in Arizona, including a wrong-way crash near Casa Grande.
That crash is still under investigation, according to the Department of Public Safety.
In Phoenix, police responded to a fatal crash in the west side of town involving a car that ran a red light. The driver of the vehicle that was struck by the red-light runner, a man in his 40s, died on scene. The other driver was in serious condition.
And authorities are also investigating another fatal collision on Interstate 10 and 51st Avenue, where a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday.
