TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police are investigating a series of car break-ins on the east side.
Tucson Police Sgt. Pete Dugan said 11 cars were involved in the break-ins off 22nd Street, east of Houghton. Of those 11 cars, ten of the cars doors were unlocked.
One of the cars had a rock thrown through the window and a backpack and wallet was stolen, said Dugan. An iPod and a gun were also stolen from the cars.
Tucson Police want to remind the public to always remember to lock your doors.
