Sentinel Peak Road will reopen Monday after being closed for several weeks due to repairs.
The road to "A" Mountain was closed following severe rains in early August.
According to the Tucson Department of Transportation, crews have completed drainage improvements, built retaining walls, repaired the erosion to the roadway shoulders and resurfaced the parking on the mountain.
The road will reopen at 8 a.m. on October 9,
