Arizona Senator John McCain is sending a message to United States allies Saturday night.
He put out a message to U.S. allies on twitter saying, "To our allies: bipartisan majorities of Americans remain pro-free trade, pro-globalization and supportive of alliances based on 70 years of shared values." McCain goes on to say, "Americans stand with you, even if our president doesn't."

Earlier Saturday evening, Trump tweeted that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was "meek" and "mild" and that his statements were "false."
PM Justin Trudeau of Canada acted so meek and mild during our @G7 meetings only to give a news conference after I left saying that, “US Tariffs were kind of insulting” and he “will not be pushed around.” Very dishonest & weak. Our Tariffs are in response to his of 270% on dairy!

This comes one day after President Donald Trump called for Russia to re-join the G7 Summit. President Trump says he believes Russia should be at the negotiating table.
Senator McCain also tweeted this after the President first made the request for Russia to re-join: "Vladimir Putin chose to make Russia unworthy of membership in the G-8 by invading Ukraine and annexing Crimea. Nothing he has done since then has changed that most obvious fact"
