PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Senate candidate Mark Kelly says if elected he'll publicly release his official schedule each day.
The Democrat and former astronaut said Tuesday that the move will help him show he's accountable to the voters.
Kelly would be one of only a handful of U.S. senators who disclose their official meetings with lobbyists, community groups and constituents as well as time spent at hearings and floor sessions.
Kelly says he intends to post his schedules online the next day. They'll include meetings and phone calls in Washington and Arizona that pertain to official business. He won't report family or campaign events.
Kelly faces Republican Sen. Martha McSally in one of the top 2020 Senate races.
